Bring a domain to Powerdoms

  1. Check the domain

Confirm eligibility, the current expiry date and that you can access the registrant email. Resolve any applicable transfer restriction with your current registrar.

  2. Unlock and get your code

Request the AuthInfo / EPP transfer code from your current registrar and remove a removable transfer lock. Treat the code like a password.

  3. Start and approve the transfer

Submit the domain and code through our billing platform. Review the price and follow the required confirmation steps. A pending transfer does not remove your responsibility to avoid expiration.

Moving to another registrar

Use your account to request the AuthInfo code and unlock an eligible domain, or contact support. Where self-service is unavailable, we provide the code and remove a removable clientTransferProhibited status within five calendar days of your initial request.

We apply only transfer denial grounds permitted by the applicable ICANN Transfer Policy and registry rules, and explain any refusal. Expiration alone is not a reason to refuse a transfer; registry status, redemption, relevant payment issues or other permitted restrictions may still affect eligibility.

When a transfer may be restricted

Restrictions may apply during the first 60 days after creation, for 60 days after a prior transfer, during relevant disputes or court orders, or in other circumstances allowed by the Transfer Policy. This is a summary, not an additional list of refusal grounds.

A qualifying change of registrant normally triggers a 60-day inter-registrar transfer lock. Under our sample process you may opt out before the change, where the policy allows. We explain the effect of a requested change and obtain the confirmations required by the applicable policy.
